ABOUT

Introducing Japan
to the World

In December 2015, we established ENGAWA Co., Ltd. with the team of Tokyo Weekender, the longest-running English language magazine in Japan, established in 1970.

As exemplified by the terms “inbound” and “regional development,” a wide variety of initiatives are emerging in the field of business connecting Japan and the world. In addition, Japan and overseas, cities and regions are becoming even more borderless with the spread and sophistication of digital services.

ENGAWA hopes to create many scenes of excitement never seen before, through activities that bring the value of Japanese companies and regions into the lives of people around the world.

“Engawa” is a unique place for interaction in Japan. It is neither inside nor outside the house, but a place where various people gather and interact openly.

As professionals in the field of “spreading” and “connecting,” we express the appeal of Japanese people, products, and things to the world, and create “Engawa” in the business scene that enriches people’s lives. That is our mission.
